About Me
Hey, I'm Maddie.
I don't have much of a formal art education, most of my learning is from books and practice. I took a few college art classes, but quickly realized that everything that is taught in those classes is just basic information that is taught in everyday library books. So, I decided to pursue art my own way, though it may be slower. I still enjoy learning more about art and art history as often as I am able to amongst my busy schedule.
I enjoy experimenting with as many art mediums as I can get my hands on, I can't settle with just one. I love to create paintings of florals and wildlife in a semi-realistic style. Using different mediums for different pieces is important, for example, watercolor will often produce a lighter painting, while acrylic paintings will create a more vibrant and dramatic image.Â
While I'm far from exploring all the different types of art, I am always on the search for more ways to create. Though I don't do it as often, I love to write as well. I used to write short stories throughout middle school and high school, which my siblings always enjoyed (at least they said they did...). One day, when I get a few moments to think, I will create a book of short stories, maybe even a small novel.
I am always open to artistic opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach out, even just to say hi!
